Basic retail scales are used for weighing products at checkout during sales. Connecting the scales to a computer enables automatic transfer of weight data to the software system. For pre-packaging, label-printing scales are used. This speeds up cashier operations, prevents inventory errors, and enables efficient self-service workflows.
